Characteristics

Some of the characteristics that distinguish a viscose f include lustrous and shiny appearance with enhanced visual appeal.The fabric has a very soft touch and a feel that is similar to silk which is why sometimes it is referred to as artificial silk. It is made to be breathable meaning that it allows a fine passage of air to go through. Other characteristics include coloring well in different dyes and it is resistant to abrasion and insects. It is also known to be anti-static and has a poor stain resistance.

Uses

Viscous fabric can be used for a wide variety of uses one of them being in the use of making rugs used in homes. The fine texture and quality of materials makes it very handy with cool designs and colors. In other countries it is being used to make sarees, a popular women’s wear that is linked to culture. One of the things that makes it very popular is because it dyes quickly and retains the color hence easy to incorporate a variety of printed designs.
